Okay let's first talk about how we are going to do this. Trust me if anyone else has an idea add it please.
1. It seems the forum will be the best for us now, again Thanks Tami for setting us up. We can post and continue a story with out anyone needing to 'pencil it in'. The roll20 is phenomenal and will bring a lot to the game but at this moment as we start out the forum will also give us time to set up roll20 and get better acquainted with it.
2. When posting on the forum, how about beginning in one thread say 'intro' – to introduce your character, how he/she came to the story/city. Then we will move to the main story thread.
3. Since all will be a constant flow type story and post, the players must realize what is and what is generally known and or private. We've been gaming long enough we can do this.
4. Yes there can be one GM but we are all creating this story, if you have a flash of inspiration feel free to use it and weave it in. I love to weave. EG
5. So to begin – Our story is based in a steam punk world. The time frame is about the same but alternate universe where in steam was used more and that there are supernaturals. Still the majority of humanity doesn't know about supernaturals however, it seems that someone or something out there has focused on supernaturals because there have been disappearances and rumors that said ones that have gone missing are now slaves. Are you being chased by those who you feel will do the same to you? Are you searching for a friend/clans mate that you think has come to harm? Have you been sent to check out someone of interest? Are you one that just has been finding odd occurrences happening more and more and they are just not adding up, just adding to your curiosity?
Remember if you have an idea post it here on the how tos and what fors this is by far not set in stone it's just a starting point.
